The Palomar
The Palomar is an open kitchen, a pressure cooker with all on show, a dropped pot, a burned hand, an unstoppable swear word, a look from Kitchen to Floor.
Middle Eastern-inspired, with dishes drawn from traditional recipes, modern techniques, places travelled to, and others only dreamed of.
Located where Soho meets Chinatown, The Palomar opened in May 2014 and fast became one of London’s most talked-about restaurants.
The Palomar has proudly held a Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2014.
And the story continues: The Palomar Sydney opened in 2025.
The word “palomar” originates from the Spanish word for dovecote, a bird house found throughout the geographical regions of our cuisine, particularly in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East.

In the heart of Soho, our dining room offers a flexible setting for lunches, dinners, parties and more. Enjoy drinks and canapés before taking a seat for your entirely personalised dining experience. With a dedicated team on hand throughout your entire event, our semi-private space is ideal for everything from business gatherings to special celebrations.

Reservations & Walk-Ins
We offer reservations up to 1 month in advance for groups of up to 6 guests, and up to 2 months in advance for groups of 7 to 14 guests.
We always keep tables for walk-ins - just pop by and we'll do our best to seat you as quickly as we can.
If we have nothing available when you arrive, you are welcome to have a drink and a snack while you wait with us or even grab a drink in our sister venue The Blue Posts Pub, also home to our hidden wine bar, The Mulwray, just two doors down at 28 Rupert Street. Both are great options for pre or post dinner drinks!
Group Dining
For group dining of 7 - 14 guests, we offer a choice of two set menus for the table to share.
